Our product
Benchmyrk
An experimentation platform for ecommerce: a native Shopify app with page, template, price, offer, shipping and checkout tests, and a script tag for any other site. Priced by orders, with every feature on every plan. The money tests are built and tested on our own development store, but none has run on a live merchant store yet.
- Pricing
- Per store, published, by net new orders: Launch from $14, Pro from $810 and Scale from $2,250 every 30 days; yearly about 10% off. Every plan has every feature; Pro and Scale add services.
- Traffic
- No traffic limit: the price follows orders, tests keep running whatever the traffic, and experiment data stays exact.
- Price tests
- Set up in the app on every plan and every Shopify plan, through a Shopify discount function. Test prices are at or below the Shopify price; up to 10 products and 100 variants per test. Built and tested on our development store; not yet run on a live store.
- Multi-currency price tests
- Percent price changes run in every currency at each Shopify Market's prices; fixed test prices stay in your store currency. Built; not yet run on a live store.
- Platforms
- Shopify as a native app, and any other site with one script tag. A server SDK runs experiments and flags from Node and edge runtimes.
- Theme and template tests
- Template tests on live traffic. Whole-theme tests send the test group to an unpublished theme through Shopify's theme preview; built, not yet run on a live store.
Not there yet
- None of the price, offer, shipping or checkout tests has run on a live merchant store yet; nor have whole-theme tests.
- No Shopify App Store listing or merchant reviews yet, and no Shopify Plus certification.
- Up to 10 products and 100 variants per price test (Shoplift allows up to 500 products).
- No subscription price tests.
Choose it if you want price, offer and shipping tests on any Shopify plan without a visitor cap, or tests on headless and non-Shopify pages, and you're comfortable starting on a small share of traffic with a newer product.

Choose it if you're on the Grow plan or higher and want to try a theme, checkout or discount change on part of your traffic at no extra cost, and conversion rate is enough to judge it.
Questions
What is the best alternative to Shoplift?
It depends on why you're leaving. If visitor-based pricing is the problem, Benchmyrk, Elevate, Intelligems and Visually price by orders. If you need multi-currency price tests, Intelligems and Elevate offer them on their top plans. If you need tests outside Shopify, look at Convert, Wingify or Benchmyrk. If theme tests on a Liquid theme are all you need, Shoplift may still be the right tool.
Is there a free alternative to Shoplift?
For theme tests, partly. Shopify's Rollouts can run a theme experiment against your live theme on the Grow plan or higher, reporting conversion rate, bounce rate, reached-checkout and add-to-cart rates. It can't test Liquid template changes and Shopify's help pages list no revenue per visitor for experiments. Our guide to Shopify Rollouts vs testing apps goes through the limits.
What happens to my tests if I outgrow Shoplift's visitor limit?
Shoplift's pricing page says tests pause until you upgrade or the usage resets at the next billing cycle. Benchmyrk is priced by orders, so tests keep running whatever the traffic.
Why isn't Benchmyrk the answer to every need on this page?
Because it isn't. Benchmyrk is newer: its money tests are built but haven't run on a live store, it has no App Store reviews or Plus certification yet, and its price tests cover fewer products than Shoplift's. We'd rather you pick the right tool than switch twice.
