Multi-page test
One test that changes several pages together and keeps each visitor in the same version across all of them.
Also called funnel test
A multi-page test applies one idea wherever it appears: a free-shipping message on product pages and in the cart, or a badge on collection cards and product pages. Each visitor is assigned once and sees the same version on every page the test covers.
It is judged on the journey's outcome, such as orders, rather than on one page's clicks.
A store shows a "Free returns" note on product pages, the cart and the checkout banner for half its visitors, and compares orders.
